The Chronicle of Philanthropy is looking for a staff writer to produce stories on fundraising and other topics about the $1.1- trillion nonprofit sector. We’re looking for a strong writer and someone who is skilled at telling stories via digital media to help our readers understand how they can do their jobs better and carry out their organizations’ missions. Candidates with experience working at nonprofits preferred.
We're looking for a talented individual who thrives on deadline and is self-motivated. You will contribute regularly to The Chronicle’s Resource Center, with nuts-and-bolts “how to” stories that help nonprofit staffs do their jobs effectively. You will be given the opportunity to write online features and quick turnaround breaking news.
Are you passionate about and have familiarity with the world of nonprofits, particularly the field of fundraising? Have at least 3 years experience in nonprofits, especially their communication departments, or in journalism?
